Summer Vacation 2013-- so it begins!

Total misnomer.  There is no vacation for domestic engineers and childcare specialists.  The days' structures are just shifted immensely. Instead of waking up, playing, feeding, dressing, playing, and dropping off for school, it's more waking up, playing, feeding, playing, feeding, playing. (Yes, I intentionally left off the dressing part. Clothing is still optional in this part of Texas within the confines of our 8 ft privacy fence during summer when temps sizzle above the 100 degree mark before noon...)

It's all good.

This is my life, one that I have chosen, and I am grateful to have choices and be here on the homefront with my monkey farm. My dear hubby of 10 years (woohoo!!!) works way too many hours and days for my liking (and sometimes the kiddos-- "I want DADDY!"), but it pays the bills and covers our health needs. Sometimes I need a reminding at 6:35 pm when the cranky monkeys are flinging food and protesting their dining experience with that "tone" in their voices and bath and bedtime are on the horizon... and I look for my white surrender flag... because there are no reinforcements to call upon...

Anway...

This will be my project blog.  I think.  We'll see what happens...

As I was saying, Summer Vacation... I was thinking about posting by days but maybe I'll post by projects... because sometimes my 5 year old needs more than one project a day... anyone else experience that?

I hope this blog will inspire and get you going.

No matter how much sleep you've had...

... Or how many monkeys you have running around your farm.
